Wexford Youths Football Club are an Irish football club from Wexford who compete in the First Division of the FAI National League. The club is competing in its first season of football after being awarded an FAI First Division licence for the 2007 season.^[1]

^[2] Wexford Youths are the brainchild of construction magnate Mick Wallace, who has funded the construction of a state-of-the-art complex for the new team's home. The club's head coach is Pat Dolan, who is filling the role while remaining on as Setanta Sports' anchorman for their live TV coverage of Irish domestic soccer.

Wexford Youths' home ground at Newcastle Crossabeg has 500 car parking spaces, making the carpark the biggest in the eircom League of Ireland.

The building work for the new stadium and facilities has been ongoing over the last 4 years (since 2003) and are expected to be completed around end of 2008.

The first match of Wexford Youths FC was an away match at Monaghan United, 9th March 2007. The scorer of Wexford Youths first ever goal in the Eircom First Division was Conor Sinnott.

The first home match ever of Wexford Youths FC at the newly developed Wexford Youths Football Complex, on the 18th March 2007 produced a excellent debut 1-0 victory over Cobh Ramblers at home infront of a crowd of 2,130 people, Tom Eimes the goalscorer in the 55 min.

Wexford Youths were given their first ever League Cup fixture details which will see them play Waterford United at the RSC, Waterford(Near The Yellow House). This game will be scheduled for the 2nd April 2007 and will be the first competitive game that Wexford Youths have played against one their local rivals.

Wexford Youths drew 1-1 at home to Limerick 37. Marty Kelly scored a cracking equaliser with 11 mins to go after Limerick 37 took the lead on the 72 mins. Good crowd again at the Wexford Youths Football Complex.

Last Night( Monday 2nd April) Wexford Youths took on local rivals Waterford United at the R.S.C a 3-0 defeat with Richard Fitzpatrick sent off early on caused a struggle in what was a generally poor performance for the youths. In time teams like Waterford won't be getting results like this against Wexford.
