Westwood Mall (Jackson, Michigan)

Westwood Mall is an enclosed shopping mall located in Jackson, Michigan. The mall features over 60 stores, and is anchored by Elder-Beerman, JCPenney, and Wal-Mart Supercenter. It is owned by General Growth Properties.

The mall opened in 1972 with JCPenney and Montgomery Ward as anchors.[1] Elder-Beerman was added as a third anchor in 1993. Montgomery Ward closed in 2000 with the chain's demise. The former Wards sat empty until 2004, when it was torn down for a Wal-Mart Supercenter.[2]
