Westpoint Blacktown

Westpoint Blacktown is a large shopping centre situated in Blacktown that is owned by the Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC).

An extensive refurbishments commenced in 2003, and as of November 2006, these are still not complete. The centre incorporates several key retail outlets: the two floor Myer, Target, Big W, Coles Supermarkets, Franklins, and Woolworths supermarkets. The refurbishment incorporated an entertaimment precinct, which incorporates a Hoyts 10 screen cinema. There is also an outdoor dining precinct and specialty stores.

One of the cinemas in the Hoyts complex contains the largest standard cinema screen in Australia.

The centre incorporates a large multilevel carpark. There is a taxi rank of level four. There is an underground bus station which provides a direct connection to the huge Blacktown station.

The attached Westpoint office tower has various commercial services and other specialist facilities such as orthodontics and an eyecare centre.
