Westfield West City is the largest shopping centre in the Waitakere region and has a primary catchment of 170,000. It features a 2 floor Farmers (department store), The Warehouse, Countdown (supermarket), VillageSkyCity 8 screen cinemas plus over 118 specialty stores. The centre is part of the Westfield Group, and is in direct competition with Lynn Mall in New Lynn and another Westfield Group centre Westfield St Lukes in Morningside
