[edit] History

Westfieled Tuggerah is credited with commencing the commercial redevelopment of the Tuggerah area, including Tuggerah Business Park and other similar commercial zones[5].

In completing the extension, a man was electrocuted and killed during October 2004. His death caused the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to attack work safety laws, claiming this was another unneeded death on the worksite.[6][7][8]

The upgraded center now contains 245 stores, including major retail chains and supermarkets like Woolworths, Coles, David Jones, Big W as well as most major fast food retailers.
