[edit] History

Oakridge Mall was originally built in 1971 by The Hahn Company with anchors Montgomery Ward and Macy's, later adding Bullock's. Bullock's closed in 1983 and a Nordstrom replaced it in 1985, but they lasted only nine years before selling the location to Sears.

The center was sold to Westfield America, Inc. in 1998. Target joined the center following the bankruptcy and closure of Montgomery Ward in 1999, and later the center was extensively reconstructed in a $150,000,000+ renovation that added a new multiplex Century Theatres, which opened in 2003.
