Western Province United is a South African football (soccer) club based in Cape Town participating in the Mvela Golden League. After the liquidation of East London-based Bush Bucks in September 2006, Western Province United, known as Cape United during the 2005/2006 season, took their place to become part of the First Division. United is currently guided by player-coach Wilfred "Silver Fox" Mugeyi after the club parted ways with former Kaizer Chiefs striker Shane MacGregor who coached the Capetonians until he was fired in February 2007.

The club was formerly known as FC Fortune and was set up by Colin Gie and Quinton Fortune, a South African football player.
