West bank school of art and culture

West Bank School of Art and Culture was an experiment in art and life in the West Bank neighborhood of Minneapolis. Founded by Will Lahti, Eric Keast, Joe Covill, Jay Olson, and Jeff Petrich. The West Bank School of Art was known for its off-the-hook art parties and poetry readings. WBSAC also served as an unofficial headquarters for the Black Label Bike Club for a while.
W.B.S.A. provided work space for Ryan Doyle, Dan Scheidt, Luke the Kid, Alberta, April, Big Luke, among others. Artists who showed works there include Faythe Levine, Jake Houle, von Sven, and a bunch of others.
Poetry was read by super-duper authors like Laura Brandenburg, Frank Henry Rollins III, and Paul Dickinson. Emily Carter delivered an exceptionally incoherent performance there once upon a time.
Musical guests were many, unofficial house band County Z, Andy McCormick and Naomi Huberty, Danger Boy and the Road Vultures, The Pizza Boys, Tulip Sweet and her Trail of Tears, Dance!!!Attack!!!. the list goes on and on.
