West Valley High School (Cottonwood, California)

West Valley High School is a high school in Cottonwood, California, near Interstate 5. The closest city is Redding, California which is about fifteen miles north of the school.

West Valley is a small school of about 1000 students. It is known locally for its athletic programs (especially basketball).^{[citation needed]} West Valley also gained notoriety during the 2003-2004 school year for a single death related to alcohol and a series of vehicle related student deaths.^{[citation needed]} But the school is best known for its world class magic shows.^{[citation needed]}
