West Toronto Yard
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
West Toronto Yard was a small marshalling yard for CPR in Toronto, but it was overtaken in the 1960s by the CPR Agincourt Marshalling Yard.
Built in 1882 to relieve stress at the Parkdale Yard and was located near Keele Street and St. Clair Avenue West. The yard's use diminished as it was too close to a residential neighbourhood and growth restrictions.
Parts of the yard is now occupied by a Rona store.
