West Rusk Independent School District is a public school district based in New London, Texas (USA).

There are three campuses in West Rusk ISD - West Rusk High (Grades 9-12), West Rusk Middle (Grades 6-8), and West Rusk Elementary (Grades PK-5).

In January 2007, the school district's board accepted the terms under which superintendent Steve Jones resigned, including about 11 months pay.[1]

On November 28, 2006, the district suspended some lower-ranking employees over allegedly sexually explicit e-mails.[2]
