West Region, Singapore

The West Region of Singapore is one of the five regions in the city-state. Comprising of 201 square kilometres of land it is the largest of all the other regions, it includes twelve urban planning areas and has at least a population of 742,000. As its name implies, it is the westernmost region of Singapore. The region includes the Western Water Catchment and the Western Islands.
