West McKellar was once the back-up bassist in one of the earlier bands belonging to Shock Artist Marilyn Manson during the early 1980's. West dropped the gig after Manson's lyrics began conflicting with the Pentacostal belief system in which he was raised. He is currently living in San Diego with his boyfriend John Donne.
