West Mambalam (பழைய மாம்பலம் or மேலமாம்பலம் in Tamil) is a neighbourhood in Chennai, India. It is located near the shopping area of T. Nagar, located west of Anna Salai. West Mambalam is home to many sweet stalls, including Venkateshwara Poli Stall and Venkatramana Poli Stall. West Mambalam contains a railway station, providing access to Chennai Central. West Mambalam doesn't contain a bus terminus, but many buses travel through West Mambalam. Arya Gowda Road and Thambiah Reddy Road both host many shops. This area contains a large vegetable market.
