West Kowloon is a railway station on the KCR West Rail railway line in Hong Kong. It is being built by Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation, which runs part of the Hong Kong railways. It is part of a larger West Kowloon reclamation project.
The surface station building is divided into two parts by Wui Cheung Road. [1] The site is currently occupied by the Canton Road Government Offices, which will be demolished.
The construction contract KDB200 (West Kowloon Station and Tunnels - Jordan Road to East Tsim Sha Tsui Station) was awarded to the Leighton-Balfour Beatty-Kumagai-John Holland Joint Venture (renamed to Link 200 Joint Venture on 9 August 2005) at an estimated contract sum of HK$ 2018 million. This station is part of this contract.
