West Ham United F.C. 1989-1990
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In only the second game of the season the West Ham fans are chanting "We hate Paul Ince" after they discover through a national newspaper of the player's transfer to Manchester United. His being pictured wearing the shirt of Man Utd makes him a pariah for many years to come at Upton Park.
Lou Macari does not last the season as manager. However, some of his signings including Ludek Miklosko and Ian Bishop went on to become West Ham legends.
