West Creek is a village[1] located within Eagleswood Township, in Ocean County, New Jersey, in the United States.

The village is named after the stream that runs through it, West Creek. The name "West Creek" is derived from the Lenape word "westeconk," meaning "place of fat meat." West Creek has its own post office and zip code, 08092.

Captain Hazelton Seaman built and designed the first sneakbox, the "Devil's Coffin," in 1836, in West Creek(Eagleswood Twp), New Jersey.[2]
