[edit] History

West Brook was originally called Forest Park High School when it was built in the 1960's as part of the South Park Independent School District. South Park ISD was incorporated into Beaumont ISD in the early 1980's in order to unify the city, increase the district's tax base, and eventually desegregate Beaumont. When the districts merged, the students of Forest Park voted to rename the school West Brook. West Brook High School officially opened in the fall of 1982.
