The Ohio Wesleyan-Denison Lacrosse Game is a men's lacrosse sports rivalry between Ohio Wesleyan University and Denison University going back several decades.[1]

Overall, the two teams met 61 times. Denison topped the Bishops 9-8 on March 25, 2006 in Granville behind an overtime goal. The last five games between OWU and Denison had been decided by one goal. As of 2006, the Bishops lead the all-time series 34-26. Denison (9-5) made their second consecutive appearance in the NCAA men's lacrosse championship and their 14th appearance in school history. Denison and Ohio Wesleyan had met six times in the NCAA Tournament with the Big Red prevailing 12-8 in 1999.

Ohio Wesleyan was banned by the NCAA from hosting its lacrosse events due to administrative oversight and heavy use of profanity against the visiting Denison University teams in 1995. [2] Both schools issue alerts to fans specifically for this game about unsportsmanlike behavior and profanity. [3]
