Wesley "Cabbage" Correira (born November 11, 1978) is an American mixed martial arts fighter. He trains with BJ Penn in Hawaii at BJ Penn MMA. He is well known for his strong "jaw" (ability to sustain blows to the head without being knocked out), which was displayed in his fight with Andrei Arlovski at UFC 47. Although Correira lost the fight by TKO, he was not knocked down until 1:12 of round 2, after sustaining constant punishment for almost 2 entire rounds. This fight led UFC play by play announcer Mike Goldberg to say "This man is not human." Correira has been quoted as saying his skull is full of "concrete and stuff".
As of March, 2007 Correira is 1-4 in his last five fights.
In his last fight, on 10th of Feburary, 2007, Correira was stopped by Antonio Silva at 3:49 of the first round. The fight took place at the début show of EliteXC and was broadcast on Showtime.
