Wesley Armson was born in Calgary, Alberta on January 19, 1985. He is currently in his 3rd year of the Mechanical Engineering program at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon. Aside from pursuing his education Wesley is an acting member of the Arborist community. He is employed by his father Kevin Armson, owner, and CEO of Aerial Tree Services Ltd., a company which has been servicing Calgary’s arboricultural needs for over 20 years, servicing the city of Calgary both publicly, and privately. Wesley is one of the few 3rd generation arborists (grandfather Earl Armson) in a country as young as Canada, which is something exciting to many arboricultural advocates to start seeing. While Wesley is a practicing arborist and has Arbor Master training in Chainsaw Usage, Precision Felling, and Climb Skills 1 he still plans on getting certified in the near future. Wesley is not only an active participant in the Arborist community, but is a small part of numerous activities, and will in no doubt continue to contribute to various fields upon the completion of his Mechanical Engineering Degree. Wesley plans on using his degree to further develop the technological aspects of the Arboricultural industry. Wesley is not just an exciting attribute to the Arborist community but a prime example of Canada's growth and development. Proof of continual building on the foundation our forefathers have laid, and not only continuing what has been taught but building on it to further industry, and development.
