Wes Platt

Wes Platt (born September 22, 1966) is a former professional journalist, game writer/designer, and creator of OtherSpace, an online science fiction space opera where participants submit biographies and become central characters in the saga. He has also developed Chiaroscuro, a text-based evolving online interactive fantasy epic, and Necromundus, a MUD for MUSHers, where players find themselves in the afterlife. He's a contributing moderator at Top MUD Sites. And he's an active member of World of Warcraft's Earthen Ring RP server community, where he's known best as the Tauren warrior Stamp. He's the author of OtherSpace: Red-Eye Flight, a novel inspired by Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, which was written in 30 days during National Novel Writing Month 2004.
He worked as a reporter for the St. Petersburg Times from 1991-2003.
He was hired in 2006 as a writer/content developer for the new Fallen Earth MMORPG by Icarus Studios.
