This is by far the most amazing and unique beer you can ever taste.

I'm going to also propose we rename the article completely. Instead of Westvleteren, the article title should be Abbey of St Sixtus of Westvleteren, as that is the official name of the place. The brewery itself is just known as the Brewery of the Abbey of... as it's not a separate entity. This also goes inline with the defacto article title convention of the other trappist brewery articles. I'll also be making gfdl pictures of the beers soon - I was in Belgium on the weekend and managed to acquire two 6's, an 8, a glass and entire crate of the 12! The name of the brewery is somewhat unclear, as there is no separate name for it. Perhaps it should be Brouwerij Sint Sixtus Abdij van Westvleteren, which would accurately reflect the monastery's own web site? The title should at least be Flemish though as that's what's used for the other breweries. If we can get a consensus on the name, then we can move it. Riflemann 20:49, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

The name of the article should be consistent with other brewery articles. It should also, following Wiki convention, be in English (Brewery not Brouwerij) and be in the form by which most people would know it (Westvleteren Brewery). Alternative titles by which people may search for the article should be created then redirected here. There are a variety of alternatives - St Sixtus being one of the most popular. [edit] Content Question

I have some pictures from my visit there. One is of the outside of Saint Sixtus and one is of the interior and exterior of the cafe across the street that sells Westvleteren, the Cafe "in de Vrede". Anyone interested in me adding this stuff? If so, I'm going to need a little instruction on how to add pictures. Thanks. Oh, and as for the naming, I also agree that "Westvleteren Brewery" is inaccurate and especially clunky, and I agree with something more along the lines of Riflemann. mwochner
