Werther, North Rhine-Westphalia

Werther is a town in the district of Gütersloh in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located in the Teutoburg Forest, approx. 10 km north-west of Bielefeld.
It is best knwon for the 'Werther's Origial' caramel sweets, which are, however, produced in the city of Halle (Westf.) today.
