- Dedicated to Robert Larzelere, M.D. Larzelere was a medical doctor who had taken a Mind Dynamics course from Werner Erhard and later became the "Director, Well Being department" within Erhard Seminars Training, in 1973.

Author William Bartley was a graduate of Erhard Seminars Training, from 1972. Werner Erhard refers to Bartley in the book as "My friend Bill"[1]. Bartley served on the advisory board of Est, an educational company.
