Weoley Castle

Weoley Castle is a suburb of Birmingham. It is located in the south-west of the city, and is surrounded by Selly Oak, Harborne, Bartley Green, Bournville and Northfield.
It is also the name of the ruins of a moated, fortified manor house (grid reference SP021826), owned and run as a Community Museum by Birmingham Museums & Art Gallery with access free of charge. The castle ruin is a Grade II listed building and the site became a Scheduled Ancient Monument in 1934.
