Wentworth and Dearne will be a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. At the next United Kingdom general election, it will elect one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election.
The Boundary Commission for England has recommended the creation of this seat following a review of parliamentary representation in South Yorkshire. It is the successor constituency to Wentworth

Following their review of parliamentary represenation in South Yorkshire, the Boundary Commission for England has created an extended Wentworth constituency to include electoral wards from Barnsley. This new Wentworth and Dearne will be fought for the first time at the 2009 or 2010 election.
The electoral wards used to create the new constituency of Wentworth and Dearne are;
- From Rotherham - Hoober, Rawmarsh, Silverwood, Swinton, Wath and Wickersley.
- From Barnsley -Dearne North, and Dearne South
