Wendy's of Michigan is a franchisee of Wendy's, the hamburger chain founded by Dave Thomas in 1969.

Wendy's of Michigan opened the first Wendy's restaurant in Michigan in the year 1974. Currently, Wendy's of Michigan operates 49 Wendy's locations all over the state of Michigan.

Wendy's of Michigan is the third largest frachisee of Wendy's, and is the only publically traded Wendy's franchisee.

Wendy's of Michigan participates in the Change A Child's Life campaign which benefits St. John's Home, the premier home for abused and neglected children in West Michigan. The Change A Child's Life campaign runs from the Friday after Thanksgiving through New Year's Eve.
