Wendell Mathis, Jr. (born September 28, 1983 in Merced, California) is an American Football running back in the NFL for the Minnesota Vikings. He was an undrafted free agent out of Fresno State University. He transferred to Fresno State University from UCLA. He was a practice squad member for on the Minnesota Vikings during the 2006-2007 NFL season and was signed in December 2006.
