Talk:Wenceslaus II of Bohemia
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
After a few moves without discussion, we have "Venceslaus II of Bohemia, Wenceslaus II Premyslid ...", while his son is listed under "Wenceslaus III of Bohemia, Wenceslaus III Premyslid ...". How about consistency? -- Matthead discuß! O 23:00, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Question re early 15th C. Wenceslas
According to a couple of books I read recently on the Teutonic Order and the 1410 Battle of Tannenberg (Grunwald / Zirgalis), there was a King Wenceslas, or Wenceslaus, of Bohemia who attempted to mediate between the Teutonic Order and the King of Poland in 1409. I don't find this personage on the disambugation list. What's up?

- This would have been probably Wenceslaus IV (1361-1419). You possibly can't find him because he wasn't a member of the Premyslid dynasty (which died out with Wenceslaus III), he was from the House of Luxembourg. Sapphire1000 23. January 2007

Why was this moved? Wenceslaus is the English spelling and the ducal articles conform to it. Srnec 23:11, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
