[edit] Welsh Wikipedians Notice Board
Croeso! Welcome! This is a notice board for Welsh Wikipedians, Wikipedians living in Wales, and anyone else interested in Wales-related topics. Use this board to suggest topics or articles in need of expansion; highlight linguistic discussions; propose common projects; ask questions; or post anything else related to Wales, Welsh people or things, or of interest to Welsh editors.
Please sign up at the bottom of the page!
You can quickly reach this page in the future by using the following shortcut: WP:WWNB; and why not just click the Watch tab right
[edit] Wales-related stub markers (templates)
Consider tagging very short Wales-related articles, with a designated stub tag. For general Wales stubs, write this {{Wales-stub}} at the bottom of the article. (All such articles are listed in Cat:Wales stubs)
- For Welsh geography-related stubs, {{Wales-geo-stub}} (articles listed in Cat:Wales geography stubs)
- For Welsh biography stubs, {{Wales-bio-stub}} (Cat:Welsh people stubs)
- For Welsh buildings stubs, {{Wales-struct-stub}} (Cat:Welsh building and structure stubs)
Note that for some areas of Wales like Pembrokeshire there are subcategories which should be used instead.
[edit] Wales-related WikiProjects
- Wikipedia:WikiProject Wales
- Wikipedia:WikiProject UK subdivisions (Wales) (carries an "inactive" tag)
[edit] New Proposed Wales Project
There is now a new proposed WikiProject to deal explicitly and exclusively with Wales at Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals#Wales. Anyone who would be interested in joining should indicate as much there, to let people know whether there is enough interest in such a project to formally create it. Thank you for your attention.
