Welton Melo

Welton Melo (born April 17, 1975 in Cabuci, Brazil) is a Brazilian soccer player, who most recently played striker for the Seattle Sounders of USL First Division.

Prior to playing for the Sounders, Welton was a two-time Major League Soccer all-star with the Miami Fusion, New England Revolution, and Los Angeles Galaxy. He is a member of the 30/30 club, scoring over 30 career goals and 30 career assists (43 and 34 respectively).

Melo currently resides in the Seattle area and plays on a local over-30 team.
