Welton, East Riding of Yorkshire

Welton is a village and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately 1 mile north of the town of Brough on the north side of the A63 road to Kingston upon Hull.

The village is situated on the Yorkshire Wolds Way long distance footpath.

The civil parish is formed by the village of Welton and the hamlets of Melton and Wauldby. According to the 2001 UK census, Welton parish had a population of 1,560.
