Wellington College is a boys-only state secondary school in the suburb Mount Victoria in Wellington, New Zealand.

The school's website claims a "proud tradition dating back to 1867". Sir George Grey gave the school a deed of endowment in 1853 but no teaching occurred. Instruction began in 1867 as Wellington Grammar School on Woodward Street. In 1874 it opened at its present location.

The school has an enrolment scheme. Previously, it had a selective entry scheme.

It also had boarding students until the school's boarding hostel was demolished in 1981.

Each year its rugby team plays in a competition with Nelson College, Christ's College, and Wanganui Collegiate School known as the "Quadrangular". Wellington College last hosted the tournament in 2003 and will host it again in 2007.

It is located next to Wellington East Girls' College, also in Mount Victoria.
