Well, Lincolnshire

Well is a small village on the foot of the east entry to the Lincolnshire Wolds. The village is picturesque as it provides good views of the gradually sloping hills towards the west. In the village there is a church, private school, a telephone box,a post box and a bus shelter but no bus service.

The cricket club in Well serves the whole of Alford and the surrounding area. Frequent matches are played here and in the summer Car Boots are a common occurrence and once yearly a Bonfire Night is held on the 4th and 6th November.
