Welcoming Home the Astronauts

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Welcoming Home the Astronauts is Flickerstick's first album. It was originally released on 226 Records, but after the band won VH1's Bands on The Run, it was released by Epic. The Epic release featured the bonus track Execution by X-mas Lights.

The re-release of the album also featured a number of musical changes to the songs and, in the case of the song "Coke," a change of lyrics. It is rumoured that under the pressure of the Coca-cola company the band changed the lyrics "lie here naked" to "lie here taken."
