[edit] Plot
The town holds a mysterious secret: those who live there have been transformed into the undead, who cannot rest and require fresh blood every now and then. As such, they lure new families into the neighborhood, always to the same house: the Dead House. Upon realizing this secret, along with the greatest weakness of the undead, the pair manage to send the townsfolk back to their graves, rescue their parents and leave Dark Falls.
[edit] Sequel
Happy Holidays From Dead House was the second book of the canceled "Goosebumps Gold" series.
[edit] Television episode
This was adapted into a television episode in the Goosebumps television series. The only difference is that the zombies in Dark Falls were zombies because of a chemical plant releasing a noxious fume that turned everyone into the living dead in search of humans for food.
