[edit] Actual title?

According to Metal Archives, this album is self-titled. That would make the sign "Welcome to Sky Valley" just part of the cover art. The spine of the CD case (as shown here) just says "Kyuss", which is consistent with being self-titled. Same goes with the CD itself. Thoughts? --Anonymous Contributor

There's plenty of debate, but for what it's worth I call it just "Sky Valley" (without the "Welcome To"). I've spent some time thumbing through Elektra's website in the google cache and the wayback machine and it's always referred to as "Sky Valley." I've also read some interviews with members of the band and they called it "Sky Valley" in all of the interviews I found. There should definitely be some mention of the debate in this article as it's difficult to find a review of the album anymore that DOESN'T mention it to some degree. I just checked that link to metal-archives.com and without a link or reference to an interview where someone from the band says it was "really" self-titled, I don't buy it as conclusive in any way shape or form. I'd venture to guess that *I* spent more time researching this, and I'm by no means the biggest Kyuss fan out there. The fact is, unless I've overlooked something, there's no "real" answer, only a bunch of fan opinions, so the best move is to just mention the debate in the article and make sure things like "Kyuss (album)," "Sky Valley," and "Welcome To Sky Valley" redirect here.
