[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Seth f. henriett kep.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Seth f. henriett kep.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Please contact me if you do not know what is being asked here. I would be delighted to answer your questions and help you keep this image from being deleted. - Corbin Be excellent 15:00, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Henriett Seth-F.

Concerning the birthdate here's what I wrote to Baskbb

"Concerning the article on Henriett Seth-F. The fact that that website is copyrighted doesn't mean we can't use information from it. To quote from WP:COPYRIGHT#Using copyrighted work from others Note that copyright law governs the creative expression of ideas, not the ideas or information themselves. Therefore, it is legal to read an encyclopedia article or other work, reformulate the concepts in your own words, and submit it to Wikipedia. That counts for the whole of wikipedia since everything should be sourced. That website is simply used as a source for the article."

Please also read WP:AGF and WP:Vandalism. The adding the birthdate is definitely not vandalism. Garion96 (talk) 13:18, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

Instead of calling it vandalism, why not simply say that the information on the website is removed. Ergo, there is no source (I can find) therefore it can indeed be removed. Garion96 (talk) 13:59, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
