"Weird" is a pop rock song written and produced by Charlie Midnight, Marc Swersky and Ron Entwistle, and recorded for Hilary Duff's third album, Hilary Duff (2004). It was released as a radio single in Spain in December 2004 (see 2004 in music);[1] no music video was released. Duff said of the song, "I love [it] ... It is really weird when you listen to the beat and the words. It's about someone that she's still obsessed with. And everything he does is like he says this, but he does this. And he does this but he says this. It's all twisted around and backwards. She's not really sure who he is or what he does, but she likes it."[2]

In November 2004 Duff said she wanted "Weird" to be the second full single release from the album (after "Fly"),[3] but "Someone's Watching over Me" replaced it in Australia.
