The Weir Group plc is an engineering company headquartered in Glasgow, Scotland. It is a public limited company, and its shares are quoted on the London Stock Exchange as part of the FTSE 250 Index.
The company is structured into five divisions:
- Weir Minerals - manufactures slurry pumps, valves, hydrocyclones and mill lining systems for the mining and mineral processing industries.
- Weir Clear Liquid - the design, manufacture and service of engineered pumps and fluid handling systems
- Weir Valves and Controls - provides critical control and isolation solutions for power generation, oil and gas, and general industry
- Weir Services - asset management, process support, and equipment repair and upgrade
- Weir Defence, Nuclear and Gas - specialist project division for the defence, nuclear and gas markets. This division includes Weir Strachan and Henshaw.
