You have just marked several of your own contributions here as copyright violations, citing themselves as the source. This makes no sense. Your contributions here were released under the GFDL licence; they cannot violate their own copyright here. And there is no provision for you to withdraw your licensure. If the reason you wish to withdraw these items from Wikipedia is because they are false, inaccurate or unsupportable, we would, however, be happy to expunge them on that basis. What we would prefer is documentation that that articles you wrote are accurate, but understand that that might be difficult to obtain. - Nunh-huh 09:34, 27 January 2006 (UTC)

And one of the images you've marked as a copyright violation, which is one that you uploaded in the first place, was previously marked by you as public domain, so you were clearly either lying or mistaken either when you put the PD tag on it or when you put the copyvio tag later. *Dan T.* 21:12, 27 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Baumbach.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Baumbach.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or ask for help at Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. Thank you. -- Carnildo 08:06, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
