Wednesfield South is a ward of Wolverhampton City Council, West Midlands. It covers the southern and eastern parts of the town of Wednesfield, as well its town centre. It borders the East Park, Heath Town and Wednesfield North wards, as well as the Metropolitan Borough of Walsall. It forms part of the Wolverhampton North East constituency.

The two Conservative Party Councillors for Wednesfield South are Simon Jevon ([1]) who has represented the area since 2000 and Matthew Holdcroft, who was elected as councillor for the ward in May 2006 (after previously representing neighbouring Wednesfield North between 2000-2004).

The eastern part is mainly residential, while the southern part is made up of the numerous industrial estates around Neachells Lane. Wednesfield High School is located within the ward.
