Weapon handling

Gun safety is a major issue of Weapon handling.

Weapon handling refers to regulations regarding work with weapons.

Correct weapon handling include mainly safety issues such as performing

handing overs (firearms: how many cartridges does it contain, is it secured or not etc.?)
the way of carrying (e.g. Gun barrel pointing up or down)
Safety against unauthorized use
locking the trigger when not using a firearm
maintenence and it's knowledge etc.

This is done to minimize or prevent risks to the operator, people in the vicinity and the weapon itself.
