Wealdway
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
22nd January 2007. The Wealdway, East Sussex, is a public footpath and is marked on the Ordnance Survey Explorer map, sheet 124. It appears to run from the western edge of Heathfield, Sussex southwards and passes close to Alfriston where it turns eastward to Jevington where it joins the the Southdowns Way where it appears to end.
This route crossses the Weald of Sussex from North to south.
I do not know how long it has been in existence but I think it might be relatively recent compared to other cross country footpaths.
