[edit] Proposed Guidelines Follow?

Does this follow my proposed guidelines for a technology page? If not, it certainly comes close. Colonel Marksman 20:06, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

  • Except for a lack of aircraft and Kor'vatta starships in the vehicles section, I am inclined to agree. -- Saberwyn 21:17, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Forge World vehicles

Would it be acceptible to include Forge World vehicles and varients (Such as from Imperial Armour 3: The Taros Campaign; ie the Tetra recon skimmer) and / or models offered by Forge World, which are listed only under the 'experimental rules' section of the Forge World Website (ie the TX-42 heavy Piranha)? The proposed guidelines don't specifically mention any reccomendations for presenting these items. (Though one can only assume that the Forge World stuff should be identified as such, and the 'experimental rules' items even moreso.) The same question also applies to the Forge World starships for Battlefleet Gothic. 24.83.77.253 09:41, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

I figure that it would, since we have a lot of the Forge World tanks and such in the Imperium vehicles article. The real question is do we use the stuff in the Specialst Games, such as the Epic 40,000 army lists. I put some notes in the Vehicles section that I just expanded, but they can be removed or put in their own sections. It also seems that the Forge World Tau ships are officially referred to as the Qath'fannor, or Tau Commerce Protection Fleet. SAMAS 14:08, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] How is the fusion gun different from a melta?

They both have identicle stats, so I am confused. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.51.54.97 (talk • contribs) .

This talk page is for discussing changes to the article itself, rather than a general discussion about the Tau and/or Warhammer 40,000. You'd be better off asking this sort of question on one of the many Warhammer 40,000 forums on the Net. Cheers --Pak21 08:25, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
Short answer -- There is no difference, other than point of origin. I'll see if I can clarify that more in the article. SAMAS 02:43, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Article name

Would a more appropriate article name not be 'Weapons, equipment and vehicles of the Tau Empire'? Are all those capitals and '(Warhammer 40,000)' really needed? J Milburn 16:05, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

No. I have been bold. Cheers --Pak21 13:35, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Images

This article is blind. We need some images! Dfrg.msc 1 . 2 . 3 08:45, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

Fine, whatever. I'll do it. Dfrg.msc 22:08, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
Done. Free use images.

[edit] Gone Fishin'

I have noticed that the Tau name all their vehicles after fish.

Actually I believe that this is an Imperial naming scheme for the classification of Tau Vehicles. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 74.110.189.141 (talk) 21:37, 3 April 2007 (UTC).
