Weapons built or used by the United States. Note that the "Cold War" versus "Modern" distinction is somewhat artificial, as some of the more advanced weapons first deployed in the 1970's, such as the AGM-65 Maverick, while undergoing incremental improvements, have still not reached obsolescence.
