We Belong

"We Belong" is a song from Pat Benatar's album Tropico. Although it matched "Love is a Battlefield"'s success on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at #5, it made the #3 spot on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart, where "Love is a Battlefield" had reached the top spot. The song also made the top 40 of Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart. The song was partly written by songwriting team Lowen and Navarro (the latter, Dan Navarro, is a cousin of Dave Navarro of Jane's Addiction fame). The single featured acoustic guitar, drums, electric guitar, and a choir of children. The song earned Benatar a Grammy nomination for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance.

The song was recorded by American artist Lynn Carey Saylor for her January 2007 released album "You Like It Clean" & features "We Belong" songwriters Eric Lowen & Dan Navarro and QUEEN guitarist Brian May.
It was used in the PlayStation Portable video game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories.
It was also featured in an episode of The Office entitled A Benihana Christmas, in which Kelly sings a karaoke version to a visibly frightened Ryan.
It was also the musical theme to a multi-million dollar marketing campaign for the Sheraton Hotel & Resort company in 2006.
