We Are the Music Makers is an album by Joy Electric. The title is based on a poem by Arthur O'Shaughnessy. This album was Martin's first attempt at making an album purely by means of analog synthesizers. One of the more experimental Joy Electric albums, this album remains one of Martin's least favorites due partly to the songwriting and partly to the extensive amount of labor he spent creating the album.[1] A music video was recorded for "Burgundy Years".
