"We Are One" is a song by the American hard rock group Kiss released on their 1998 album Psycho Circus.
Written and sung by vocalist/bassist Gene Simmons, the song is a return to his Beatles-reminiscent melodic style he previously displayed on songs like "Great Expectations", "See You Tonite", "Mr. Make Believe", and "You're All That I Want".
Simmons and Kiss vocalist/guitarist Paul Stanley are the only two members of the group to have performed on the song, with Stanley playing bass, and Simmons playing rhythm guitar. Session musicians Tommy Thayer and Kevin Valentine perform guitar and drum parts repectively.[1]
Released as a single in 1998, the song charted in only a few countries, and failed to chart in the United States and United Kingdom.[2]
